This position involves examining near term military capabilities that could be used in unique ways to provide new innovations to a variety of DoD operational mission areas. It involves working with the intelligence community and across multiple DoD services to select relevant technologies and operational concepts of interest. It involves considering technical solutions, overseeing analysis, including modeling and simulation efforts to determine the potential for success of new programs and standing up early R&D prototype efforts.
Experience required: A minimum of 20 years of recent and relevant programmatic and technical support experience. (Military operational experience can substitute with significant analysis/PM/technical support roles). Proficient in program management, systems engineering, and an in-depth knowledge of one or more of the following:
- Army long range fires,
- Data science, artificial intelligence, deep learning systems,
- Autonomous systems,
- Long range weapon kill chains,
- Communications, networking, inter-networking in communications denied environments.
- Cyber security
Education/Clearance etc: A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in engineering, computer science, physics, or other science and technology related subjects is required; TS/SCI required by at least one candidate, TS acceptable for remainder. Contractors with a DCID 6/4 eligibility within the last five (5) years are highly preferred.
